Johnny Depp embraced his Jeanne du Barry co-star Maiwenn as he attended the UK premiere of the period drama in London on Monday evening.
The 60-year-old actor plays King Louis XV in this period drama alongside actress-writer-director Maiwenn in the film, which arrives in cinemas on May 2.
Stepping out for the UK premiere at The Curzon Mayfair in London, Johnny showed affection for his co-star.
The actor, who has been attempting a comeback with his first film in four years, sported a long grey coat with a black suit underneath for the premiere.
While he gripped onto Maiwenn affectionately, Johnny gave a very serious expression in many of the snaps, adopting a similarly serious stance.

Among the stars at spotted at the premiere was Liam Gallagher's son Gene.
Also in attendance was British acting legend Mackenzie Crook with his much-taller son Jude.
The new trailer for Jeanne du Barry was released earlier this month (via Vertical YouTube) offering new footage from the film.
The film had its world premiere as the opening night film of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, released theatrically in France on the same day, with Vertical releasing the film in the U.S.
The trailer for the French language film begins by revealing the film is set in France 1768, showing Depp enter a room flanked by many guards.
A title card reads that his character Louis XV, 'had many lovers... but only one stole his heart,' while a male character tells another that the King must meet Jeanne.
Maiwenn's character is introduced, making a regal introduction as she is told not to look the king in the eyes and, 'one does not show feelings at Court.'
Jeanne completely disregards protocol and looks Louis right in the eyes as she slowly gives him a curtsy, while someone says, 'Who does she think she is?'
One of Louis' servants tells Jeanne that the King wants to meet her, as she enters his chambers and tells him she's 'honoured' to be there.
He offers her champagne before they kiss, as a title card reveals this is based on, 'the untold true story.'

King Louis is seen walking into a regal event with Jeanne and is heard saying, 'I want to be by her side. When the sun rises, and when it sets.'
He's seen presenting her with a magnificent necklace, before telling her he wants her to stay with him at his palace in Versailles.
A female character says there is, 'A vile rumour that has Versailles abuzz,' while some of the other women conspire to get Jeanne removed from the court.
'You are in danger, madame,' a male character tells Jeanne,' as they show critic quotes praising Depp's performance, his first ever using the French language.
Louis is told that the, 'union between France and Austria is at stake,' while Louis tells another character, 'You know what must be done.'
Jeanne is told, 'You are starting to see the King's dark side,' while Louis tells Jeanne that he's in love with her, but she insists, 'This isn't love.'
The trailer winds down with a number of dramatic shots of Louis and Jeanne, as one woman says their tryst is 'grotesque,' when Louis' handler responds.
'No, it's Versailles,' as the trailer comes to an end.
